Privacy and Cookie Policy

Composite Exchange LLC, doing business as Twist Dynamics ("Twist Dynamics," "we," "us," or "our")

Effective date: September 9, 2026

This policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information when you visit twistdynamics.com, shop with us, submit reviews, contact us, participate in our dealer program, or subscribe to our communications. It also explains our use of cookies and the privacy choices available to you. Nothing in this policy waives rights you have under applicable law.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. Contact details such as your name, email address, telephone number, and shipping or billing address; account and dealer business details; order and return information; fitment questions; warranty claims and supporting photos; product reviews, ratings, and photos; and your communication preferences. Please share only the information needed for your request, and do not send full payment-card numbers or account passwords through our support or warranty forms.

Transaction information. The products you buy, payment and fulfillment status, shipping details, refunds, and related records. Payments are processed by the payment providers available at checkout; their handling of your payment-card details is governed by their own terms and privacy notices.

Information collected automatically. Device and browser information, IP address, the approximate location it indicates, the pages and products you view, the site you came from, your interactions with our website and ads, and cookie or similar identifiers. What is collected depends on the tools in use and your applicable consent or opt-out choices (see Section 5).

Information from service providers. Our payment, fulfillment, fraud-prevention, review, advertising, and communications providers may give us transaction status, delivery information, interaction data, or other information needed to provide their services.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Process purchases, payments, delivery, returns, and warranty requests.
  • Maintain customer and dealer accounts and answer product, fitment, and business questions.
  • Operate, secure, and improve our website, products, and customer service.
  • Publish the reviews, ratings, and photos you submit, and address misuse or fraudulent submissions.
  • Send service and transactional messages and — where permitted and consistent with your choices — promotional emails and text messages.
  • Measure advertising performance and deliver relevant advertising, including through Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising tools.
  • Protect accounts and transactions, investigate misuse, keep required business records, and meet our legal obligations.

Where a law requires a legal basis for processing, that basis depends on the activity and may include performing our contract with you, complying with a legal obligation, our legitimate business interests where permitted, or your consent. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it for future processing at any time.

3. When we share information

We share personal information as reasonably needed with service providers that support our store, payments, shipping, hosting, communications, reviews, customer support, security, and business administration. In particular:

  • Shopify hosts our online store and checkout and processes information under its own privacy terms. See Shopify's Privacy Policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
  • Judge.me powers our product reviews, ratings, and photos.
  • Jotform powers our warranty-claim form.
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. provides our advertising and measurement tools (the Meta Pixel and related tools) for Facebook and Instagram.

Advertising providers may receive online identifiers and information about your activity on our website and with our ads, subject to your applicable choices. Some of this advertising activity may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under certain U.S. state privacy laws, even though we do not sell customer lists for money. If you would like to limit this, you can use your browser and device controls and Meta's ad-preference settings (see Section 5), or contact us to make a privacy request (Section 7).

We do not share customer lists with our dealers. If you ask us to coordinate a specific issue with a dealer, we will explain and arrange only the disclosure needed for that request.

We may also share personal information with our professional advisers; when reasonably necessary to comply with the law or valid legal process, to protect our rights, or to investigate fraud or misuse; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or other business transfer, subject to applicable legal protections.

4. Reviews, ratings, and photos

Content you submit for public review — including your public display name, rating, review text, and photos — can be visible to other visitors. Please do not upload other people's private information, sensitive documents, or images you do not have permission to share. Public content can be copied by others. To request correction or removal of your content, contact us (Section 10); what can be removed may depend on legal requirements and the capabilities of our review provider. Additional review-provider terms may apply to content you submit.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Pixels and similar technologies record interactions or send information to a provider. On our store these include:

  • Essential technologies — cart, checkout, account sessions, security, and other functions needed to run the store. These are always active.
  • Preference technologies — settings such as your region or language.
  • Analytics technologies — understanding visits, navigation, and site performance.
  • Advertising technologies — measuring campaigns and supporting relevant advertising, including the Meta Pixel.

Some of these operate only during a browsing session; others remain until they expire or you remove them. Providers and durations can change.

Your controls. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies, although doing so can affect checkout or other features. Browser controls alone may not stop every kind of tracking. You can manage advertising preferences through the relevant platform, including Meta's account and ad-preference settings, and opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at https://optout.aboutads.info and https://optout.networkadvertising.org. To make a privacy request, contact us using the details in Section 10 (see also Section 7).

6. Email and text messages

We send promotional emails and text messages in line with your preferences and applicable consent requirements. Signing up for marketing is never a condition of purchasing from us.

Email. To stop promotional emails, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us.

Text messages (SMS). If you enroll in marketing texts, message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any marketing text to opt out, and HELP for help, or contact us. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary order, service, or legally required messages sent through the appropriate channel. We do not provide SMS marketing opt-in consent records to our dealers for their own marketing.

7. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to:

  • request access to, or a copy of, the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete personal information;
  • receive your information in a portable form;
  • opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling;
  • withdraw consent you previously gave; and
  • appeal a decision we make about your request.

Exceptions may apply — for example, where we need information to complete a transaction you requested, to detect or prevent fraud, or to keep legally required records.

How to exercise your rights. To make any of these requests — including, where it applies to you, opting out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for advertising — email sales@twistdynamics.com with the subject "Privacy request," or contact us using the details in Section 10. You can also use your browser and device controls and Meta's ad-preference settings at any time (see Section 5).

We may need to verify your identity, or an authorized agent's authority, before we act on a request. Please do not send sensitive identification documents unless we ask for them and explain how to send them securely. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If your request is denied and applicable law allows it, you may appeal by replying to our response or contacting us at the address above.

California residents. Where the CCPA (as amended) applies to us, you have the rights listed above, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16.

Canada residents. Where PIPEDA or a comparable provincial law applies, you may request access to and correction of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent to marketing at any time (Section 6). You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — including fulfilling orders, handling warranty and support matters, keeping required tax and business records, resolving disputes, and preventing fraud. How long we keep a given type of information depends on its nature, the applicable legal requirements, and why we hold it.

We use safeguards intended to protect personal information. No method of transmitting or storing data over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect your account credentials and tell us if you suspect any misuse. Nothing in this policy limits responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Children, international processing, and other websites

Our store is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information without appropriate authorization, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

We are based in the United States, and we serve customers in the United States and Canada. Our service providers may process information in other countries, where privacy laws can differ; where applicable law requires safeguards for cross-border transfers, we apply them. Other websites we link to — including dealer websites and third-party resources — have their own privacy practices, so please review their policies before providing information.

10. Changes and how to contact us

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The effective date at the top identifies the current version, and we will provide additional notice or seek your consent where the law requires it.
